Vadodara, August 19, 2015: VIBGYOR High Vadodara School’s U-14 Boys Football team defeated their opposition, Rosary School with a score of 5-3 in the Quarter Finals match of Football Coca Cola Cup, today. The tournament was organized by Baroda District Football Association at Maharaja Sayajirao University Pavilion, Fatehgunj. VIBGYOR High Vadodara School initially had a draw match with a score of 1-1. However, the team twisted the match in their favour in penalty shoot-out scoring 4-2. VIBGYOR High NIBM School’s U-14 Boys and Girls teams showcased their outstanding performance at District Invitational Handball Boys & Girls Competition held at Chandrashekhar Agashe College, Gultekdi, today. In the first U-14 Boys match, the team won with an excellent score of 11-8, where, Parker Faadil Quasid scored 7 goals, while Arth Agarwal and Abhi Govil scored 2 goals each. VIBGYOR High Vadodara School’s U-14 Boys Football team had an incredible victory against Kendriya Vidyalaya School in the 1st match of Football Coca Cola Cup, today. The tournament was organized by Baroda District Football Association at Maharaja Sayajirao University Pavilion, Fatehgunj. VIBGYOR High Vadodara School won with a marvelous score of 8-0, wherein, striker Vedant Patel scored 6 goals, while Dharamraj Patel and Rudra Patel scored one goal each. VIBGYOR High Goregaon student wins HT Scholarship 2015

Tamanna Balachandran, a student from Grade 5 of VIBGYOR High Goregaon schoolwon the ‘Hindustan Times Scholarship Programme 2015’. The winner was awarded with a trophy and scholarship certificate by Imran Khan, a popular Bollywood actor. The scholarship of Rs.50,000 was given in the form of cheque in an award ceremony held today at New Cuffe Parade Arts & Culture Centre. Tamanna was amongst the top 50 students who were felicitated in the ceremony selected after an interview with Soumya Bhattacharya, Editor, Hindustan Times.
