Airoli’s first truly international school from VIBGYOR HIGH
Report by India Education bureau, Mumbai:VIBGYOR HIGH, a premium chain of world class schools in the country, is coming up with its new school campus at Airoli, Navi Mumbai. This is the first school in Airoli to offer parents and students an option of international curriculum in association with the Cambridge International Education of UK (CIE, UK). The other board choice is the Indian Council for Secondary Education (ICSE). The admission process for both the boards for the academic year 2014-15 has now begun at the school campus.
In the first academic year 2014-15, the school will begin with the Pre-Primary level (playschool, nursery, junior and senior KG) and also the two board options – the international curriculum of CIE, UK (grades I to IV) or the Indian board of ISCE (Grades I too V). In future, the school will scale up to a full fledge K-12 model wherein the ICSE section will go up to grade X and the CIE, UK section up to the A Level which is equivalent to the grade XII in the Indian context.
Occupying 2 acres area, the VIBGYOR HIGH, Airoli campus is designed be a truly world class set-up with modern infrastructure, facilities and child-friendly learning environment. In sync with the VIBGYOR’s philosophy of bringing the global best practices in school education to India, the VIBGYOR HIGH, Airoli will also implement VIBGYOR’s customized ‘integrated and scripted curriculum’ that conforms to the guidelines of the respective boards in terms of the contents but transcend beyond the traditional subject boundaries with a focus on activity-based experiential learning. To maintain the personalized attention to students, the classroom strength will be optimized to 26 students with an average teacher-student ratio of 1:10

Also a large population of south-west part of Navi Mumbai from places like Vashi, Koparkhairane, Ghansoli and Airoli prefer schools in Airoli.
